Abstract

Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Cipinang Sub-district, East Jakarta, face two interrelated problems: limited adoption of digital marketing, particularly the optimization of TikTok as a business promotion channel, and weak financial accountability due to the absence of orderly bookkeeping. These problems hinder the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 8 (decent work and economic growth) and SDGs 1 (no poverty). This community service program aimed to strengthen MSME capacity in two areas: optimizing TikTok Business for digital marketing and strengthening simple, accountable financial recording. The activity was carried out on 6 June 2026 through socialization, hands-on training, and mentoring for MSME actors in the Asoka V neighborhood, RW 04, Cipinang. The program was evaluated using a pre-test and post-test design with a 40-item questionnaire on a seven-point Likert scale. The results showed an increase in the average score from 4.69 (pre-test) to 5.79 (post-test), an improvement of 23.5%. The digital marketing aspect rose by 30.0% (4.34 to 5.64) and the financial accountability aspect rose by 17.9% (5.05 to 5.95). A paired-samples analysis of matched respondents produced a statistically significant difference, t(10) = 2.88, p < 0.05, with a normalized gain of 0.40 (moderate category). The program effectively improved the participants' knowledge and readiness to apply digital marketing and orderly financial recording.
