However, limited access to superior seeds and a lack of knowledge in nursery techniques remain major obstacles faced by farmers at the village level. This community service activity aims to empower village communities to support agricultural independence through the construction and utilization of horticultural seed houses. This program was implemented by KKN-T students from Class 46 of the Indonesian Christian University of Toraja in Tambunan Village, North Makale District, using a participatory approach that directly involved the community, from the planning stage, through the construction of the seed house, to training in proper nursery techniques. The seed house functions as a production center for quality horticultural seeds, such as vegetables and food crops, which can be used sustainably by the community. The results of the activity showed an increase in community knowledge and skills in nursery management, as well as an increase in the availability of superior seeds independently. In addition, this program also encouraged the formation of community working groups that play a role in the sustainable management of the seed house. Thus, this activity is expected to strengthen village agricultural independence and become a model of community empowerment that can be replicated in other areas
2026-05-05T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Sepsriyanti Kannapadang, Enos Lolang, Anastasia Baan, Esky Naya Palulun, Sandra Panditahttps://icjcs.esc-id.org/index.php/home/article/view/239EDUKASI RESILIENSI DIRI DAN MANAJEMEN STRES: MENYIAPKAN MENTAL CALON TENAGA KERJA VOKASI DI SMK YPWKS CILEGON 2026-05-29T02:42:49+00:00Cokorda Agung Wibowocokordaagung21@gmail.comVeronika Joan Jasminecokordaagung21@gmail.com
Massive industrialization in the Cilegon region demands vocational high school (SMK) graduates who are not only mechanically proficient but also psychologically resilient. Transition shock is a prevalent phenomenon among vocational graduates due to the structural disparity between high job demands in the heavy industry sector and low personal resources. This Community Service (PkM) program aims to enhance work readiness by strengthening self-resilience and stress management among 12th-grade students at SMK YPWKS Cilegon prior to entering the Industrial Work Practice phase and professional recruitment. The intervention utilized a Blended Method approach, integrating Interactive Lectures as cognitive transmission agents and role-play-based Focus Group Discussions (FGD) as affective incubation agents. Effectiveness was evaluated through a quantitative pre-test and post-test design involving 40 participants from technical and administrative vocational programs. Empirical data analysis revealed significant improvements: cognitive understanding of stress literacy surged from an average score of 59.5 to 74.3; practical coping mechanism skills increased from 46.2% to 86.3%; and psychological well-being escalated from 91.00 to 107.63. This approach effectively reduced destructive anxiety and transformed mental vulnerability into adaptive resilience. The urgency of resilience is universal, relevant for both field workers and administrative staff. It is recommended that this psychoeducational module be integrated into the vocational counseling curriculum as an upstream Talent Pipeline Management instrument.
2026-05-05T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Cokorda Agung Wibowo, Veronika Joan Jasminehttps://icjcs.esc-id.org/index.php/home/article/view/240PKM PENGENALAN PENGELOLAAN SDM SISWA SMK YPW KRAKATAU STEEL CILEGON: MEMBANGUN KOMPETENSI SOFT SKILLS TEAMWORK DAN TIME MANAGEMENT MENUJU DAYA SAING INDUSTRI2026-05-29T02:42:56+00:00Ria Safitridosen03412@unpam.ac.idAwan Anharadosen03412@unpam.ac.idPebrianti Pawestridosen03412@unpam.ac.id
This Community Service Program was conducted at SMK YPWKS Cilegon with the aim of improving students’ understanding of personal human resource management, teamwork, and time management as essential soft skills required in the industrial world. The main problem identified among students was the low awareness of the importance of coordination, discipline, and collaboration in completing tasks, which often led to inefficiency in group-based learning activities. To address this issue, the program was implemented using an interactive and participatory approach, including interactive lectures, workshops, group discussions, and simulation-based learning through a building tower activity using simple materials such as straws and tape. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in students’ awareness and understanding of teamwork dynamics, role distribution, communication, and time management. Students also experienced a shift in perspective, realizing that successful task completion is not only determined by individual ability but also by effective team coordination. This program successfully bridged the gap between theoretical learning in school and the practical demands of the industrial world. Therefore, simulation-based learning combined with soft skills training is considered an effective method to enhance vocational students’ readiness for future workforce challenges.
2026-05-05T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Ria Safitri, Awan Anhara, Pebrianti Pawestrihttps://icjcs.esc-id.org/index.php/home/article/view/241PENINGKATAN LITERASI KEUANGAN BAGI GENERASI MUDA MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN MANAJEMEN KEUANGAN DASAR PADA PONDOK PESANTREN MODERN KULLIYYATUL AL-NAASYIIN AL-ISLAMIYYAH (KULNI)2026-05-29T02:42:59+00:00Riski Wisnu Prakosodosen03035@unpam.ac.idLailatul Uyundosen03207@unpam.ac.id
Financial literacy and understanding of basic financial management are crucial competencies for the younger generation to prepare for a better and more independent financial future. The activity aimed to improve insight, explore opportunities, and map the challenges of QRIS adoption from the perspective of MSME financial management. The implementation method used a learning by doing approach through the stages of preparation, education, demonstration, and simulation, with a descriptive evaluation involving 18 participants consisting of business owners and local residents interested in starting their own businesses. The results showed an improvement in the partners' digital financial literacy in three aspects: the use of QRIS to monitor cash flow, awareness of separating business finances, and mitigation of digital transaction security risks such as fake QRIS schemes. This activity also identified three main challenges in the field, namely technical, cognitive, and regulatory constraints. The limitation of this activity lies in the evaluation which remained descriptive without pre-test and post-test. Nevertheless, the training succeeded in fostering the partners' initial awareness while also producing a recommendation on the need to integrate financial literacy programs with capital assistance through KUR, business legality (halal certification and BPOM), and comprehensive digital marketing.
2026-05-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Suci Mutiara Sani, Risma Ridianti, Siti Hukmiatunnisa, Ruth Melani Putri Pesta, Yane Rohayatunnisa, Mila Nurmilahttps://icjcs.esc-id.org/index.php/home/article/view/248PEMBERDAYAAN PEREMPUAN MELALUI PEMANFAATAN PEKARANGAN MENGGUNAKAN LIMBAH DAPUR SEBAGAI PUPUK ORGANIK DI JEMAAT RANTE TAGARI KLASIS TALLUNGLIPU2026-06-14T07:52:29+00:00Driyunitha Driyunithapakidingtanningd@gmail.comYulius Pakidingpakidingtanningd@gmail.comSion Oktafianuspakidingtanningd@gmail.comErnytha A Gallapakidingtanningd@gmail.com
Household organic waste remains an environmental challenge that has not been optimally managed by many communities. At the same time, home yards possess significant potential to support household food security when utilized productively. This community service program aimed to enhance community knowledge and skills in processing kitchen waste into liquid organic fertilizer and optimizing home yard utilization for vegetable cultivation. The target participants were 302 members of the Women's Fellowship of Toraja Church (Persekutuan Wanita Gereja Toraja/PWGT) at Rante Tagari Congregation, Tallunglipu Classis. This group was selected because of its strategic role in household management, including food preparation, kitchen waste management, and home yard utilization. The program was conducted over a three-month period through observation, socialization, training, demonstration, mentoring, and evaluation activities. The results indicated an improvement in participants' knowledge and skills in producing liquid organic fertilizer from household kitchen waste. Participants were able to independently produce and apply organic fertilizer to vegetables cultivated in their home yards. During the mentoring period, various vegetables, including mustard greens, spinach, kale, tomatoes, eggplants, and chili peppers, showed good growth and were utilized for household consumption. In addition to improving yard productivity, the program encouraged positive behavioral changes in household waste management, reduced dependence on inorganic fertilizers, and increased environmental awareness. The findings demonstrate that women's empowerment through the utilization of kitchen waste and home yards can contribute to household food security while promoting a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable environment.
2026-05-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Driyunitha, Yulius Pakiding, Sion Oktafianus, Ernytha A Gallahttps://icjcs.esc-id.org/index.php/home/article/view/249PENDAMPINGAN PENGGUNAAN APLIKASI CORETAX UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LITERASI PERPAJAKAN BAGI PELAKU UMKM DI KOTA SERANG2026-06-17T16:32:47+00:00Ibrohim Ibrohimibrohim.binabangsa@gmail.comSurachman Surachmanrachmanbb21@gmail.com
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in regional economic growth and employment creation. However, many MSME actors still face limitations in understanding tax regulations and utilizing digital tax administration services. The implementation of the Core Tax Administration System (Coretax) by the Directorate General of Taxes requires taxpayers, including MSME actors, to adapt to digital-based tax services. This Community Service Program aimed to improve tax literacy among MSME actors in Serang City through assistance in using the Coretax application. The program was conducted for one month in January 2026 using participatory and educational approaches through socialization, tax education, direct demonstrations, practical training, and technical assistance. A total of 30 MSME actors participated in the activities. The results indicated a significant improvement in participants' understanding and skills in using Coretax. Understanding of Coretax functions increased from 36.67% to 86.67%, while understanding of digital tax reporting increased from 26.67% to 80.00%. Participants were also able to perform account activation, create billing codes, manage tax profiles, and conduct digital tax reporting independently. Therefore, the mentoring program effectively improved tax literacy and supported the acceleration of digital transformation in tax administration among MSME actors in Serang City.
2026-05-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Ibrohim, Surachmanhttps://icjcs.esc-id.org/index.php/home/article/view/251PEMBERDAYAAN UMKM MELALUI PEMANFAATAN E-COMMERCE DAN TEKNOLOGI TEPAT GUNA BERBASIS KEBUTUHAN LOKAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEREKONOMIAN2026-06-24T18:00:11+00:00Rika Kartikarikakartika.binabangsa@gmail.comDini Martinda Lestaririkakartika.binabangsa@gmail.comGito Syamil Basayevrikakartika.binabangsa@gmail.comDedi Budimanrikakartika.binabangsa@gmail.com
Cibuah Village has significant MSME potential; however, it still faces challenges in digital marketing and production efficiency. The impact is that students feel alienated from their own culture. In fact, learning will only be meaningful if it is contextual by connecting students to social reality and the potential of the area where they live. Therefore, incorporating elements of local wisdom into learning media and teaching materials not only makes it easier to understand the material, but is also effective in sparking students' imagination and curiosity in a deeper way. Based on interviews with partner teachers and observations in May 2026, the learning process at the school is still dominated by conventional approaches that rely on formal textbooks and monotonous static visual media. This happens in social studies lessons for 7th-grade students on the topic of sustainable development. As a result, students seem less enthusiastic and passive during social studies lessons when the topic of sustainable development is taught, because the material is often considered boring due to the scope of the subject being too broad, so students can only guess how sustainable development is implemented in Indonesia. Responding to the urgency and various issues mentioned above, it is necessary to conduct a 'Training on creating media based on local wisdom to enhance the creativity of 7th-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Kabuh, Jombang'. The implementation method of this program uses a persuasive, participatory, and experimental approach, divided into three systematic stages: preparation, implementation (training), and evaluation, which is measured using a Student Creativity Observation Sheet instrument covering aspects of fluency of thinking, flexibility, and originality of ideas. The results of the activities showed that using media based on local wisdom effectively made the learning atmosphere more lively and contextual. The final assessment places the student groups in the Creative to Very Creative category, where students are able to come up with ideas for using environmentally friendly natural materials, independently vary weaving techniques, and produce unique character visualizations
2026-05-30T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Diah Dinaloni, Henky Muktiadji, Meriena Mustikaning Kussusilo
